Took this out on DVD from the video store last night, and although it saw it when first released in the cinema, I had forgotten just exactly how scary it was! I mean from childrens book to childrens nightmare inducing movie. This didn't stop me from really enjoying the second time around though. I still got totally drawn into the story, and now I can't wait for books 4 & 5 to be turned into movies, and for JK Rowling to complete books 6 & 7 so that we can find out more about this guys life and how it turns out! I don't remember enjoying books this much, since I was a kid reading about this type of fantasy stuff. Man, a little escapism is good for the soul!
